This Saturday from 6 - 9pm sees the opening of A Full Plate , an exhibition of hand painted plates at The Compound Gallery in Oakland. I will have half a dozen specimens on show and available for purchase.

Part of the proceeds of each sale goes to support City Slicker Farms, which helps the West Oakland community meet the immediate and basic need for healthy, fresh food by creating chemical-free high-yield urban farms and backyard gardens. So not only do you get some cool crockery you get to feel warm and fuzzy about what a nice person you are too.

Here’s a new suite of motivational letterpress prints that revel in the delightful title “The Grim Specter of Death”. Eight individual prints in total, in an edition of four of each print. The LA show opens tomorrow (March 7th) 6 -10pm, live music and positive affirmations will be provided.
