I painted a bowl for potato chips. And potato chips only.
This will be appearing, with several other hand-painted plates, in the exhibition “A Full Plate” which opens at The Compound Gallery, in Oakland on Saturday, August 27th and runs until October 16th. All plates and bowls will be for sale in the gallery, and online here.
Part of the proceeds of each sale goes to
support City Slicker Farms, which helps the West Oakland community meet the immediate and basic
need for healthy, fresh food by creating high-yield urban farms and backyard gardens free of chemicals.
